Can Active Sync wipe an iPhone when the user leaves

Is it possible to configure active sync so that if an employee decides to disconnect hier phone from the corp. network, the device will be wiped first. We are concerned about people using personal phones, then deciding to leave and taking corp contacts and data with them.
