can i hook 2 pc’s to one modem/dsl

i have 2 desktops, 1 is hooked up thru modem/dsl eternet cord(yellow)however, another desktop is available for use, but i have a router and don’t know which way to hook up. it has been previously hooked to other systems such as belkin. help me pls!
