Can I keep paying for my domain on Dreamhost but use Wix via self-host?

We are currently using WordPress but are thinking of swapping to Wix as it is more user friendly so we’ve heard. But we pay for our domain through Dreamhost and so we wanted to make sure they’re compatible. We haven’t found any answers online so far.
