Can I run a cisco PIX as a VPN Concentrator?

Hello,

I have a handful of locations that are running Cisco PIX 506Es(IOS 6.3.5) for their Firewall and VPN (IPsec and PPTP) needs. I want to migrate away from using the PIX units and was wondering if it would be possible to turn a 506e into a VPN concentrator by shutting down the firewall function. I have a firewall solution I want to put in place and run it in parallel with the pix-turned-concentrator. I have done simple changes to the configurations, but I am not to sure on everything that needs to stay and what can be deleted out of the configuration. If this is possible, a template guideline configuration would really help out.
