Can not make wireless connection from laptop to personal computer

I have set up a Personal Area Network. Its very simple. A personal computer with router sends its signal out to another personl computer and a laptop. Since returning from a trip in which i used the laptop for internet access I cannot connect my laptop with the router based personal computer. The second personal computer connects fine. I have the bluetooth turned on at the laptop, but its Wizard says it cannot find a device to connect to. How can I resolve this? thanks for any help
