Operating system used is Win98SE.
I first establish a connection to a server using dial-up in order to transfer files through dos via ftp session to an IBM OS390 mainframe. The dial-up authenticates me to the network so I can proceed on and connectto the mainframe. Once I pass that authentication phase I have to authenticate a second time to the mainframe. My problem is once I’m successfully authenticated through the dial-up connection I cannot ftp to sites on the mainframe needed. However,I can ping the sites, do a tracert and even ftp to other sites using the exisiting dial-up connection. All dial-up and network configs are set properly. Does anyone have any suggestions or has had a similiar problem? If so please let me know what was done to resolve.
