cannot add users to any other groups

I went to add an existing user to the admin group, domain admin, every other group available and I received a “class not registered” alert. I could not add any user to any existing group, I received the same alert. I could still create a new user but only to the domain users default group. Any ideas on repairing / fixing the issue?
