Cannot connect Blu-Ray to WRT54GS?

I currently have the Linksys WRT54GS Wireless-G Broadband Router firmware v1.0, and I recently upgraded the firmware to v4.71.4.
I am trying to connect my Vizio VBR122 Blu-Ray Wireless Player to the router. I am able to connect successfully to the router, but when the Blu-Ray tries to connect to the internet I get a ‘Time Out’ message. I have been able to connect to the router wired and I am able to get on the internet. Is there any settings I need to change on the router to be able to connect the Blu-Ray wirelessly to the internet??
