I’ve pasted the error message below that I get when I try to create a public folder in my new E2k7 server. I am currently in the middle of a migration from E2k3. I was under the impression that a new PF would be created for the 2007 mailbox server during installation, but that didn’t happen. I’ve read in a couple of places that the solution is to upgrade the default policies in a couple of places.

My questions are: Is this safe to do without breaking functionality on the E2k3 server? Why didn’t this happen during installation?
Thanks,
Jon
