Cannot log onto Novell

We are using Novell Client at our school. I have one computer which will not let you log onto it. I have checked the network card, cables and connections. The TCP/IP and novell settings are all correct. When I type in a username and password it says “system could not log uoui into the network, make sure connection and name are correct.” Does anyone have any ideas?
