Cannot save to server “space error”

I have a client running MS SBS 2003 and one user has suddenly found she cannot save work to the designated area on the server even though there is lots of spare and I have increased the quota (but not rebooted the server). She experiences this on more than one client PC, but other users do not have the same problem on her PC.
Can anyone suggest a cause and solution?
