I have just migrated to Exchange 2007 and still have my E2k box running for Public Folder replication purposes – although I will decommision the server once I fixed all the snags.
Anyway, since the replication, I have a user for which I had to drop their mailbox and re-create it. Now when anyone internally sends an email to them using their outlook autolist it fails with an NDR. However, all external email come in to the user and all emails sent internally via the GAL (not the autolist) work.
I wonder if it because the user mailbox was created in one server in one administrative group and then the mailbox was dropped and recreated in another – would this be an x500 problem?
I don’t want to drop any more mailboxes untl I understand why this is happening.
