canon bubblejet printer

I have a canon BJC-5000 bublle jet printer. I turned the machine on and the ink jet cartridges are stuck in the right corner, and i am unable to change cartridges. The printer is also flashing green and yellow lights. I don’t have a manual and I am unsure what the problem is. Any answers are greatly appreciated.
