Can’t delete folder or Files in desktop in Windows Vista Using Roaming Prof

I can’t delete files or folders in my user desktop. She is using windows vista and roaming profile, saying that the file will not be deleted because it is not online. The user can log on using her domain credential. She can saved on the desktop or create folder on it and I checked the files and folder she created in our shared folder in the server and it is there. Please help.
