Can’t install a Hp 690c from Network

I have the Deskjet 690c shared on a network and when I tried installing it
with
win 2000 pro it couldn’t find any drivers for it. I went on the HP site and
it
said that microsoft provided these drivers with 2000. Well it certainly
isn’t
working.

For some reason I can install the printer if I specify it is local, however
can’t
seem to get the printer driver installed when I’m trying to install it from
the
Network.

Help????
