Can’t Load an application on Windows XP

Attempting to install an application on Win XP. The application request Windows Installer 3.1 v 2 and XML 6.0 in order to install.

When I attempt to install Windows Installer and XML 6.0 the message comes up that I already have those installed on the laptop. But the application I am trying to load still will not allow me to load it.

I have logged in as local admin. Tried to add and remove those components (won’t let me). Tried to reinstall the components (won’t let me).

Also, the application I am attempting to install will load fine on several other laptops.

Suggestions? Thanks for the help!
