replaced motherbd and nic and now cannot logon to network? Before this printer stopped working on network but ok if attached to pc. All pc are win98 on NT4 network. PC can ping all clients and sever. Clients can ping it but server cannot ping pc. Properties are: client for Micro.N,Micro.fam.logon,TCP/IP,file & prt sharing,cleint for Micro.netwrk.Name stayed the same. Other pc with printer lpt1 properties: client for Micro.N.,microsoft family logn,tcp/ip->dial up adapter,primary network logn is Micro client for Micro. Net. More settings can be email to you if you request from pikikoko@msn.com Other clients can logon to network. Up to now printer has been working well. Error message for pc logon: “server can not be found for logon”. Other pchave pcanwhere for dial-in. No internet connection.Network Neightborhood shows all clients and server on the network. IP address worked in the past and mask has not changed. What do you think?
