Can’t open PSD file after reinstall windows

After reinstalling windows 7 stopped opening some files PSD files. I try to open them with Photoshop version 6, it does not work. I tried to open them on the laptop, same garbage. Tell me what the problem is. And how to fix it. Thank you.
