Can’t see server or vice versa

I recently added another nic card into a server that is running Windows server 2003 enterprise to try and create a VPN but it was unsuccessful. After i put it back the way it was i was not able to connect to the server anymore or vice versa. Can anyone tell me what i did wrong. I retraced all my steps but still no luck.
