cant setup 98SE pcs 2prnt2 ntwrk prntr

we have a network as follows:
server: win 2000.
5 pcs: win 98SE
my pc: win xp pro
on the network I also have a Lexmark Optra R+ with a network card, which I’ve setup as a stand-alone unit on the network (ie, not running off a pc). my win xp pc will recognise it, and so will the server, but I can’t get the win98 pcs to see it. what i’m doing is this (on the win98 machines) Add Printer, Next, Local Printer, pick Manufacturer, next … and here’s where I’m running into problems. there is no option to create a new port (and type in the IP address). help?! please! thank you, Gazza84a
