Career change from Software to Networks

Can anyone pls advice on how to change from a software career path to network?

i have worked as an IT Business Analyst and currently work as a Software quality assurance analyst but want to switch to networking.I have great interest in jobs that requires hands-on but the challenge here is how to initiate the move.

I have worked for 3 yrs in the IT industry and currently work and live in Lagos,Nigeria.

Anyone out there with a useful advice? pls help.
