Career in software testing

Hi,
I am currently working as a software test engineer and having 3 yrs of experience in Manual testing.
Is there any future in Manual testing or should I shift to automation testing?
I am not having any programming background. Will it be easy for me to shift in Automation testing?

Pls advice.
