career in systems integration

Hi,
I started as software developer and now I work on implementing/tailoring tools related to IT infrastructure management from past 5 yrs. I have overall 10 yrs experience. I currently specialise in 1 tool.
I would like your advice as to how do I grow in my career. I don’t think its wise to stick to 1 tool as the tool itself might get obsolete.

Please suggest ways and means to an appropriate step forward
