Catalog Information

I have an Nt server with a Hp Tape drive of 12/24 GB installed on it.In few couple of day, while taking backup on fresh tape as well on the old tape having some data on it, its giving a message of No uncataloged sets were found on the tape what does that message means & how can i slow that problem.
