CD-ROM

I just recently purchased a cleaning kit, and cleaned the lense of my CD-ROM. Previous to this, it would have trouble accessing CDs. Now it has been able to read all CDs that I have put in it, aside from one that came with my “Upgrading and Repairing PCs: 12th edition”. It spins up, then makes a clicking noise and locks up everything on the computer aside from the mouse. I eject the cd, and I get a blue scree saying that I need to place the CD back in the drive, and if it is in it needs to be cleaned (Error reading cd in drive F:\). I hit escape and everything goes back to normal. Except the CD will not read!

Any ideas?
