CD-RW giving problems

I am currently using Iomega CD-RW 650. When it reads files from CD, sometimes, it will suddenly not be able to read from file. Then, it will show a blue screen and i was only able to catch a glimpse of it that says ‘Dumping Physical Memory’. What does this mean? Is there anything wrong with the writer?
