I’ve got a Dell Latitude e6510 with a celluar modem card. It works great and I can connect with no problems to the Internet. However I’ve noticed that the /etc/resolve.conf file is not updated with the DNS settings provided from the cell company. If I connect to the Internet via wifi /etc/resolv.conf is updated normaly. With my cell modem I have to manually edit the file. However If I restart my computer my DNS entries are lost. Has any one experienced this? Any suggestions on fixing this would help.
All this started happening with a fresh install of Ubuntu 17.04.
