I’m working on disabling accounts in our Active Directory at the school I’m working for. Certain students haven’t returned a form that they need to give to staff at the beginning of the year in order to continue schooling, and the administration for the school has asked me to disable the accounts of the students who haven’t handed in the form.
Normally, I’d just disable the account in Active Directory, so the user gets a message that says “You’re account has been disabled. Please see the network administrator.” or something like that. But what I’d like to do is change that message if possible to something like “You’re account has been disabled because you have not yet handed in your form” or something, so I don’t get thousands of requests to me asking why their accounts are disabled and to come see me.
If anyone knows how to make custom disabled messages that would be great. Thanks!
