My problem is ,
My boss is using laptop while travelling around the world , we have extensive links between our offices for accessing mails and datas , whenever he went to other office he has manually changed the IP address through network properties for accessing our corporate office mailserver , so we have allocated one dedicated local IP address for him in all the location .In this regard Is there any way to update the Ip address by clicking a simple shortcut ?.
We have tried the registry level shortcut by using the following path
\\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\N1001\Parameters\tcpip
Whenever he clicks the shortcut the particular location IP address , subnet mask and gateway address will directly changed in the registry , the disadvantage is he has to restart the system everytime then only the IP address changed in all the controlsets of the registry.
Is ther any other registry path available to update the IP address without restarting the system?
Note:
By default when we changed the IP address through network properties , no need to restart the system , but while changing through above shortcut it needs to be restarted .
Can anybody help me to find out the solution for this problem?.
