chat room

I am a user of a PC in a LAN environment but for the last three day I face difficulties connecting to chat rooms, especially Yahoo chat.

I sign in normally, I go up to my room, but I keep on a message “searching for an applet” and as soon as my room appears I get disconnected from the chat room and taken back to Main Chat Menu. What could be the problem please???
