Checkpoint VPN client connects, but cannot access LAN

Here is the situation:
Have a user who can connect thru the Checkpoint R60 VPN client. Authenticates and shows valid connection, however cannot ping or otherwise contact and internal resources. However, can use OWA and can use the net in general. Immediately after getting the message that “user is authenticated thru Radius”, she gets “gateway is not responding”, this happens immediately after connection.
