Checkpoint VPN1 Client on OS X Leopard

Has anyone managed to get this combination of VPN1 client and
leopard working as whenever i have it installed i get authenticated by
the gateway but i then get a message connection cancelled

I can get a conventional PPTP connection working and I have VPN1 on
windows working ok using the same router Net-gear DG834N

Any Help would be appreciated
