I apologize because i have seen multiple post similar to this. Unfortunately not many are unique to my situation. I am currently in charge of IT at a small but growing business. We currently have 1 server acting as a File server/FTP/Domain Controller. It is running windows server 2008 R2. We will be adding Exchange Server 2010 to this same box within the month. Later within the next 6 months we will be implementing a second server and utilizing it as a SQL Server.
Currently i am using Windows Server Backup to backup user files on the server. Moving into exchange and SQL we will want to upgrade our backup for obvious reasons. As i stated before we are a small business currently under 20 employees. We need a backup solution that is not over the top. Looking into backup exec and Acronis , the price tags are a little higher than expected. ~$2000 is more than i think we need. I could be wrong though? Any recommendations or ideas for me would be greatly appreciated.
