Cisco Aironet 1252 VLAN Help

by jasonnewberger . Updated 18 years, 3 months ago

have just upgraded to a Cisco Aironet 1252 from a standard consumer grade Linksys router which was not getting the job done for me anymore.

The LAN that I am running right now is pretty much full and I have no VLAN’s on my switches due to me not having access to them.

My LAN sits on 206.89.*.*
The old Linksys I had set to 192.168.1.1 with an internet ip address of 206.89.*.23. I had plenty of room for my clients.

What I can not figure out is how to set that up on the Aironet. It seems that if I try to set it to 192.168.1.1 I can not connect to it as well as I can not administer it as I can not get to it from the network.

I am pretty new to this any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Jason
