CISCO cat2950 switch problem

Hello,
I have a CISCO cat2950 switch problem. I telnet to the switch ip address, it asks for a password (I enter the password)and I go through to the unprivelage mode. Now, I get the “>” prompt. Ok, I enter “enable” command and it says: % No password set. I am stuck at the “>” prompt. This is live switch in a production environment. Any suggestions on how to fix this please?
