Cisco packet tracer not responding

Can some one with cisco/windows knowledge pls help me resolve my issue? i am currently studying for my ccna and has been trying to setup cisco packet tracer to help me practice but each time i install it,always comes with cisco packet tracer not responding. what could be the reason
