Cisco PIX 501 Firewall SMTP setup

Can anybody help me to setup my Cisco PIX 501 Firewall to allow me to collect my e-mail via SMTP instead of POP. The PIX has version 6.1 O/S and Version 1.1 PDM. I have limited experience of CLI setup but could follow written instructions that juststate the required CLI. Thanks.
