Cisco router fixed address config

I’m rookie in Cisco router configuration.
I just suscribe a leased line from my local ISP with a fixed IP address provided.
How should I configured the fixed ip address inside the Cisco router IOS.For etc the fixed IP address is 192.168.1.1 shouldI set it under serial 0 interface or else where?
