I have a user who has the Cisco SSL VPN installed on a new Dell 64bit laptop. The problem is sometimes when he takes his laptop home, the VPN will connect without issue. The next time, he’ll get home and the VPN adapter will be disabled in device manager. Our company does not allow administrative rights, which is what he’d need to re-enable the adapter. Is there a setting or something I can do to make sure the VPN adapter is enabled when he needs it to be? The problem is that he takes it home and the only time this will happen is after hours and he won’t call our helpdesk. He waits until the next morning and calls me. I’ve talked to our VPN guy who says it’s not on his side, that it’s hardware specific which I’m sure it is. Any help is GREATLY apprecaited. Thanks!
