Cisco VPN IP Concentrator

I’m software developer working on a .NET web service that may need to have several hundred (500+) TCP/IP connections. I don’t know anything about the Cisco VPN Concentrator. When the concentrator is added to the network, will it be transparent to the .NET socket framework?
