cisco vpn unable to secure communication channell!!!

hello all,

i just finished configuring an access list thast set to “in” on my lan interface.
after doing so, i was unable to connect out through cisco vpn.
cisco is able to contact the security gateway on the other end, though when it comes to “securing communication channel” it immediately disconnects.
i tried 4 different profiles (4 different locations) and the same prob occurs on all of them.

any advice on how to resolve this issue or at least what caused it?!

ps: after troubleshooting and not able to find a solution i added “permit ip any any” to that access list, thinking that it would solve the issue, but it didnt!!
