Citrix

Building a Stand alone 2000 server, and I already have a NT BDC server, the 2000 server is going to be running a Oracle 8 , and the Software vendor states that if the workstations are not windows 2000 pro, then we need to install citrix so that the workstations will not have a problem, NO REMOTE WORKSTATIONS? Is this true. I have a IBM Server dual processor 500 with a gig of ram, Raid 5, and they state that with exchange server on the server, the program will run slow. so In theory if I put a Windows 2000 Server as a standalone and put the Oracle 8 on it, I dont need citrix in a mixed OS enviroment???
