I have a user who gets the following error when typing to start Citrix Metaframe client, “Cannot connect to the Citrix Server. TCP/IP Protocol is not available” “ICA browser failed to return any names. Server addresses may be entered in the server location list for this application, if no Citrix servers exist on your local subnet”.
All other applications that use TCP/IP (IE, Windows, connection to NT Domain, etc) work fine using TCP/IP. I tried reinstalling TCP/IP & Networking components, Citrix client (even removed all files related to citrix in the hard drive and registry) to no avail. The only way to fix this solution is to FDISK and start from scratch (I’ve already done this 3 times already since November)
Citrix support knowledge base/FAQ doesn’t help. Any help/insight would be great.
