Citrix says Netware password expired

We authenticate to NetWare 4.11. About 200 users with 40% on the road. We just installed Citrix Metaframe for the travelers. It is randomly telling them that their NetWare passord has just expired. This occurs if they are in the LAN and change it then use Citrix in the next few days or if they have just changed the password thru the SetPass utility we have on Citrix for them. I check the NWADMIN and it has one date then a few moments later it has an older date. Why?
