I have 1 client that loses connection each day at 4:45. This client is running Windows xp pro connecting to a windows 2003 domain. I have static IP addresses through on everything.
When the connection is lost you can look at my computer and see the network drives are showing as disconnected. While in this state I can ping the domain control both by name and IP. Reboot or logoff/logon fixes the problem.
It acts as if the session is drop on the server for some reason. The server is not showing any errors that pertain to this user or computer. In fact there were no logs during this time period.
I have 64 other PC’s all connecting to this domain that do not lose connection at any time during the day.
