Client PC send Multicast packets

I have a seperate Network with around 60 PC’s for real time application. 50 nos. PC are DOS based and others are Windows 2000 PC’s. 3 of my Windows 2000 PC’s started sending multicast packets continously due to which my Network bandwidth utilization shooted to more than 90%.
What may be the reason for my client PC sending multicast packets continously.
