I’m the new LAN admin for my company, I have about 50 xp clients conected to the domain (windows server 2000) DNS and DHCP up and running good.
The problem is when I add a new computer to the domain, I dont have access to many things on the local machine(cmd, regedit, add remove programs, etc), when im loging on the computer as administrator, I can, but when loged on the domain as domain admin I cant. I have an error msg “Been disable by your administrator”.
I’ve looked at every single gpo on the server and there is no restriction at all set by the former admin) I even add me(domain administrator) and several users in the local administrator group.. Doesnt work. So basicly only when im loged on the local machine I can change things.
If someone can help or think of something please advise.
