Close Open Files warning during synchronization

I keep getting a Close Open Files warning when my xp pro laptop syncs with the exchange 2003 server at work.
This only happens at startup, not logging off or on whilst computer is already on.
i have looked at ms support, and they identify the issue as being fixed by sp2, but i am running sp2 with auto updates all complete.
Anyone had this problem as well, or is it just my problem ridden laptop?

I eventually managed to fix by doing a full windows repair and re-installing all the updates.
