Cluster Services and Routing Problem

We have recently installed 2xW2K Advanced Servers with Cluster Services configured. I need to change the route table so that all PC’s on the network can see the servers on the public LAN, however when I use route add -p to add information for a particular router on the network the route table entry defaults to the private Interface and we are unable to find a way to change this to the public Interface. Is there a way around this problem?
