Compaq EVO D510 desktop (on/off button (micro switch) not turning on)

Guys….this Compaq D510 SFF desktop will not power up. It has been doing this for a while. Sometimes I am able to get power to start, by turning off at the wall, pressing on/off button and turning on at wall. The on/off button rarely works.

I have read the posts on suspect power supplies and bridging the switch. However, this computer motherboard does not have the traditional switch with wires. It has a micro switch.that is soldered to the motherboard. So I am reluctant to jump power.

Has anyone had similar problems? Is this micro switch normally a problem? Thanks
